SFCCC receives emergency preparedness grant from the Walter and Elise Haas Fund

We’ve all heard it before – it’s a matter of if, not when. A recent $25,000 grant from the Walter and Elise Haas Fund will go a long way towards helping SFCCC serve the city when an earthquake or other disaster strikes. SFCCC’s eleven partner health centers, which serve over 10% of San Francisco’s population from locations throughout the city, will be visible and trusted sources of support services for their patients – particularly those with few other resources – in the aftermath of a disaster. We are fortunate to have the partnership of the Walter and Elise Haas Fund, which has extensive experience in disaster preparedness grantmaking, as we continue to refine our coordinated response plan across our clinic network.
