Vet SOS is limited in our ability to store medication and must be selective about what we can accept. Please see the lists below to check whether we can accept the type(s) of medication you wish to donate. Please note that the lists will be updated as our needs change. To arrange delivery of donations, if you are unsure about an item you wish to donate, or it is not on either of these lists, please contact us at vetsos@sfccc.org

  • Fluids/Lactated Ringers

  • Gabapentin (≥100mg)

  • Heartworm preventatives (without Flea & Tick)

  • Meloxidyl/Meloxicam/Metacam

  • Mirtazapine Transdermal

  • Rimadyl/Carprofen (≥75mg)

  • Vetoryl/Trilostane

  • Skin medication (in general)

  • Ear medication and prescription flushes (in general)

  • Prescription flea control

  • Prescription/Medicated Shampoos

  • Animax/Nysastin/Panalog

  • Apoquel

  • Baytril

  • Cefpodoxime/Simplicef

  • Gabapentin (<100mg)

  • Rimadyl/Carprofen (<75mg)

  • Vetmedin/Pimobendan
