SFCCC has been awarded supplemental funding to increase
access to HIV care and treatment. A total of $38,000 has been awarded by
HRSA to identify, link, re-engage or retain in care those who recently tested
HIV positive and are treatment naïve; were previously diagnosed with HIV/AIDS
and have never been in care; or have been out-of-care for more than a year.
The funding comes through SFCCC’s federal Health Care for the
Homeless grant, in conjunction with our Ryan White Part C HIV/AIDS Early
Intervention Services program. Services are being provided by Haight
Ashbury Free Clinics-Walden House, Lyon-Martin Health Services, and Mission
Neighborhood Health Center/Clinica Esperanza.
