The registered nurse provides direct RN-level clinical care on a full-time basis. The nurse will function within the full scope of RN licensure, according to the CA Nursing Practice Act and will provide and assist in assessment, triage, development, and implementation of the patient care plan. S/he will be responsible for the RN level tasks in the delivery of the primary care provider plan for patients. The individual is expected to maintain a high degree of professional competence and the highest possible ethical standards, and to function as part of a care-giving team.
Monday – Friday, ~40 hours per week (full-time); some evening hours required.

Education and Skills:
§ Current California State RN License
§ Commitment to the mission of Lyon-Martin and to community-based primary care
§ Two year minimum experience as a registered nurse.
§ Bilingual English/Spanish language ability required
§ Ability to produce accurate and precise work, detect and resolve discrepancies all while meeting deadlines
§ Ability to work effectively as a part of the care team with medical and mental health providers
§ Ability to effectively engage and educate patients with their treatment plan to reach optimal health outcomes
§ Flexibility and comfort in anticipating and managing change in a small, fast-paced non-profit clinic
§ Phone triage experience preferred
§ Community health experience as an RN preferred
