SFCCC invites you to join us in welcoming David Ofman, MD as our new Chief Medical Officer. Dr. Ofman joined SFCCC in November 2013 as our Interim Medical Director, having previously served as SFCCC’s Interim Medical Director and consulting physician from 2008-2009.
Dr. Ofman is a graduate of Princeton University and Harvard Medical School, and completed his internal medicine residency at the University of Washington. He holds a Master of Arts in government from Harvard University and has completed The Robert Wood Johnson Clinical Scholars Fellowship at UCSF and the California Health Care Foundation Health Care Leadership Program. Dr. Ofman formerly served as Medical Director of North of Market Senior Services/Curry Senior Center, and as Medical Director of Primary Care for the San Francisco Department of Public Health.
Dr. Ofman will continue his clinical practice at Curry Senior Center, where he has been serving San Francisco’s seniors since 1983. His experience and knowledge will help SFCCC and our network of primary care clinics stay at the leading edge of health care reform.
