History
Established: 1972
Founded By: Francis J. Curry; Curry Senior Services was founded by Dr. Curry as a 501-c(3) community clinic, during his service as the Director of the Department of Public Health.in order to meet the need of seniors.

Philosophy
Mission: Curry Senior Services is a joint project of San Francisco's Department of Public Health and the private, non-profit organization, Curry Senior Services. From it's key location in the Tenderloin, Curry Senior Services provides services to seniors that promote independent living while maintaining their dignity & self esteem.

Services
Target Population: Seniors, over 55 years old.
Number of Clients: 700 - 800 clients, monthly
Services Provided: Health Services include primary medical care, glaucoma and blood pressure screening, health education , podiatry, mental health consultation, HIV testing, and prevention and home visits to home bound seniors.
Programs: Case management, North and South of Market Adult Day Health Care, Social Day Care, Alcohol and Drug Program, Breakfast and Lunch Programs, and Community Services programs.
Managed Care Clinic: Yes, through the Community Health Network
Languages Spoken: Spanish, Cantonese, Mandarin, Tagalog, Vietnamese, Cambodian and Laotian, Russian
Medical Staff Demographics: 2 Physicians; 3 Nurse Practitioners; 1Registered Nurse; 1 Licensed Vocational Nurse; 1 MEA
