Equity Health

Asa Satariano was named the Chief Executive Officer of Equity Health (formerly South of Market Health Center) on February 1, 2019.  Asa has been with Equity Health since she started as a student intern in 1991. Previously Ms. Satariano served as the health center’s Chief Administrative Officer and Corporate Compliance Officer from 2009 to the present day.

Ana M. Noriega has been the Site Director for the SF Native American Health Center since 2015, her role also includes her function as the Director of Dental Operations for  all Native American Health Center sites. As a licensed Registered Dental Assistant, she previously supported with direct member care and later became the Dental Clinic Manager at the Oakland clinic. She has over 20 years of experience working in community clinics in the Bay area and Arizona. She is dedicated to NAHC’s mission of providing comprehensive services to improve the health and wellbeing of American Indians, Alaska Natives, and residents of the surrounding communities with respect to cultural and linguistic differences.

Dr. Valdes has been the Chief Healthcare Officer at HealthRIGHT 360 since 2014. She has built her career around providing care to the underserved and uninsured, including serving as the Medical Director at St. Anthony's Medical Clinic for over a decade.

David Knego, Treasurer

David Knego has been the Executive Director of Curry Senior Center since 2007, leading the charge to increase the center’s impact on the lives of San Francisco seniors in need. During his tenure at Curry Senior Center, he has launched new programs, expanded the volunteer base, and led the organization through a rebrand.

Dr. Eddie Chan is the President and CEO of North East Medical Services (NEMS). Prior to joining NEMS, Dr. Chan served as the Clinical Operations Manager for Kaiser Permanente in South San Francisco, CA.

Dr. Richard Gibbs founded the San Francisco Free Clinic with Dr. Tricia Gibbs in 1993. He is currently the President of the clinic, where he continues to see patients and teach. He received his medical degree from Yale University School of Medicine and has been in practice for more than 25 years.

Harold Wallace, Chief Executive Officer of Marin City Health and Wellness Center is a proven leader in
the community health care space with over 18 years of senior leadership experience in health care
management, governance, strategy and direction. Prior to joining MCHWC, Mr. Wallace held the role of Chief Executive Officer at Bay Clinic, Hawaii Islands largest Federally Qualified Health Center. Mr. Wallace also serves on the Boards of Directors of the Redwood Community Health Coalition.

Lance Toma is the CEO of San Francisco Community Health Center, a multicultural health services, education, and policy organization that stands as a bedrock of support for San Francisco’s most marginalized and vulnerable communities. He has been a major force in ensuring that communities of color and those living with HIV/AIDS have a place to be served and heard.

 

WILLIAM HERNANDEZ

REGIONAL DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS, PRIMARY CARE AND BEHAVIORAL HEALTH

William (Will) Hernandez is the Regional Director of Operations for Primary Care and Behavioral Health at BAART Community Health Care.  He is responsible for the integration and oversight of Primary medical and Mental Health services that are provided throughout BayMark clinics, operated under the BAART Programs and MedMark Treatment Centers brands.

LAURA FLANNIGAN, RN

DIRECTOR OF CLINICAL SERVICES

ST. ANTHONY’S MEDICAL CLINIC

Laura Flannigan joined St. Anthony Foundation in June of 2023.  As Director of Clinical Services for the Foundation, she oversees the Medical Clinic, Addiction Services, and the Companionship programs.  Laura has 20 years of clinical operations experience, last serving as Vice President of Operations in California for Avalon Healthcare.  She managed multiple Skilled Nursing Facilities and Nursing Assistant Training programs throughout the state.  While with Center for Elders’ Independence, she managed multiple primary care clinics and expanded services to other counties.  Laura has a background in business, starting her career with Deloitte, and a passion for quality.  She is committed to promoting care integration, quality outcomes, and expanding access for vulnerable populations.

 

Anna Robert, RN, MSN, DrPH

MISSION NEIGHBORHOOD HEALTH CENTER

Dr. Anna Robert was named the CEO of Mission Neighborhood Health Center in July, 2023.  Prior to joining Mission Neighborhood Health Center, Dr. Robert served as the Director of Primary Care for the San Francisco Health Network – the healthcare delivery system for the San Francisco Department of Public Health. She is devoted to ensuring that underserved communities in San Francisco receive high-quality, equitable healthcare.   

CONSUMER ADVISORY PANEL

San Francisco Community Clinic Consortium

SFCCC’s Consumer Advisory Panel (CAP) serves as a committee of its Board of Directors. CAP is comprised of active patients of SFCCC member health centers and provides ongoing feedback on clinic services from the patient perspective.
