SFCCC Arranges Training on Corporate Compliance

On November 7 & 8, 2011, SFCCC sponsored training on Corporate Compliance for its partner health centers and more than 25 other primary care clinics across the state. Attendees also received a toolkit to assist them to develop and implement an effective system of internal controls that ensure adherence to legal and program requirements. The training was provided by experts from Feldesman, Tucker, Leifer, Fidell, LLP; RSM McGladrey; and Curtis Degenfelder Consulting, with financial support of the National Association of Community Health Centers. Comments from attendees included “comprehensive and insightful,” “packed with relevant information,” and “the information supplied was perfect.” SFCCC arranges training for clinic staff as part of its workforce development role as a federally funded Area Health Education Center (AHEC).
