San Francisco Community Health Center Receives Federal Award to Treat Substance Abuse

On March 11, the Federal Health and Human Services Agency (HHS) announced$94 million in grants to health centers to help treat the prescription opioid abuse and heroin epidemic in America.  One of our own SFCCC members,  HealthRIght360, received an award for their Medication-assisted Treatment program (MAT).

MAT combines behavioral therapy and medications to treat substance use disorders. HealthRIGHT360’s new MAT program, called Project MATch, will focus on opioid use disorders for patients at its Integrated Care Clinic.
