Intermittent Clinic Bill Signed

The California Primary Care Association and its members are happy to announce a legislative success: Governor Brown signed AB 1130 by Assemblymember Adam Gray (D-Merced) on Thursday.

AB 1130 will allow primary care clinics that are operating on an intermittent basis, the option to provide 30 hours of care per week, rather than 20 hours, as currently allowed by law. The new law will go into effect Jan. 1, 2016.
